The Origami Pinn Dripper will be released worldwide on April 10, 2026 (Friday) at 10:00 AM Japan Time.
This dripper was jointly developed beginning in 2024, when our founder, Yasuo Ishii, set out to compete in the Japan Brewers Cup Championship 2025. With the dedicated collaboration of President Kato of KAI Co., Ltd. and designer Matsubara of Koyo Toki Co., Ltd., this dripper was brought to life through a shared commitment to excellence.
We had the opportunity to visit the production facility in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, where each dripper is crafted. Witnessing the process firsthand, we saw how skilled professionals across each stage of production carefully refine and inspect every piece by hand. Each unit is completed with meticulous attention and care.
At Leaves Coffee stores and on our online shop, we anticipate that the product may sell out on the first day. Please note that even if you arrive early, there is a possibility that you may not be able to purchase one. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused. Additionally, we are unable to accept reservations via phone or email, so we kindly recommend checking authorised retailers worldwide in advance.
While the Origami Pinn Dripper is not a limited-edition product and will remain part of the Origami lineup going forward, we kindly ask for your understanding that, as a temporary measure until supply stabilises, purchases at Leaves Coffee will be limited to one unit per customer.
Just as a single cup of coffee changed Ishii’s life, we hope that this dripper reaches many hands around the world—becoming a new standard in brewing, and enriching lives through the continued evolution of coffee.
